Installing ReqXChanger™
The following provides the methods to install and configure the application assuming the prerequisites of the system are met.
Refer to the Getting Started section for Prerequisites and the Administration Guide for Headless Mode execution.
Limitations:
- ReqXChanger supports Windows operating systems. Other operating environments are not supported. This is due to the FlexNet™ licensing scheme.
- Only one version and instance of Rhapsody/Enterprise Architect should be open during a transformation.
It is highly recommended to save the configuration of an old version before installing a new version. To save a configuration, select the menu File > Save Configuration As...
To install ReqXChanger:
- Download the "SodiusWillert ReqXChanger_XXX.zip" file.
- Unzip the .zip.
ReqXChanger is installed.
This installation by "unzip" concerns an installation of the ReqXChanger independent of Rhapsody.
IBM Rhapsody ReqXChanger Add-On is installed with Rhapsody. For more information, consult the IBM Rhapsody ReqXChanger Add-On documentation.
