Publishing

To publish a UML Model from Rational Software Architect to MagicDraw:

• From the Services view, select the service Rational Software Architect UPIA to MagicDraw UPDM 2.1. Double-click.
• Select the Rational Software Architect input file. This has to be a UML 2.1 xmi file exported from Rational Software Architect, using the Diagram Exporter.
  For more information on the Rational Software Architect diagram exporter, consult Exporting data from Rational Software Architect.
  Click Next.
• Select the MagicDraw output file. Click Next
• Select the publishing options.
  For more information on the publishing options, consult Publishing Options.
  Click Finish.

When the publishing is finished, a report on the converted elements can be consulted.
For more information on the report, consult Reporting.
The MagicDraw output file can be opened within MagicDraw.
