The design comparison page helps understanding the differences between two versions of a design.
The selection bar at the top of the page allows defining the versions to compare. It consists of several fields, all required to access the comparison interface.
The versions eligible for comparison are the local configurations of the selected design. They can be streams or baselines. A version cannot be compared with itself.
To understand how the comparison interface highlights differences in layouts between two versions of a design, see the page Design layout comparison.
The content comparison interface depends on the type of content being compared:
At the bottom of the comparison interface, an expandable pane allows comparing the properties of a selected resource. It is closed by default. It displays the properties of the resource in both its origin version and target version. If the resource is added or deleted, only the properties of the existing version are displayed.
The value of an added property is highlighted in green. The value of a modified property is highlighted in yellow. The value of a deleted property is highlighted in red.
