Integrating Applications

Before your ALM and PLM users can relate ALM resources such as Work Items and Requirements with PLM resources such as ChangeRequests and Parts, an administrator must couple the ALM and PLM applications with each other. Then, within these applications, you will need to pair ALM Project Areas with PLM Products and Libraries.

Note that if your ALM application is using OSLC Global Configurations, before your users can select resources to link, you will also have to add your ALM Project Area Components, such as a DNG Component, into one or more Global Configuration streams.

See Server Friending and either Adding CCM Associations or Adding RM Associations for the necessary procedures.
