M2M Exporter dialog window Launcher

To open the M2M dialog window, right-click on the M2MExportRuleset, and then, click to ‘M2M - Export Model’:

Once the dialog window is displayed, there are different settings to launch the transformation:

Select the packages to exporter with the browser

This browser allows the user to select the Packages to export or not in the target model.

Select the path of the model to export

This option is to select the path where the model will be exported from Rhapsody. The button ‘Browse…’ opens a pop-up to navigate in the Windows browser to select the file path.

Generate traceability report

This option is to enable the generation of a ExportTraceabilityReport. This report is a Rhapsody Table which displays in the first column the source element, then, the target element, and the MappingRule which has been executed.
When this option is enabled, a package named ‘Traceability’ is created in the Rhapsody model. It contains the traceability report:

Launch transformation

To launch the transform, click on ‘Export model’ button.

At the end of the transformation, all of the options selected by the user on dialog window are saved as properties on the M2MExportRuleset. These properties are described here M2MExportRuleset settings.
