Exporting Requirements from Polarion

• From your Polarion Document, select the Action button.
  
• Select the menu ReqIF Round-trip > Export Document.
• If it is the first export of the Document:
  • Select the radio-button Create a new ReqIF file.
  • Select to Export in new ReqIF file.
  • Give a name to the new .reqifz file.
  • Click the Start button.
  • Map Document types and attributes to Polarion Work Items types and fields, such as:
    • Heading <- Heading
      • Relations <- nothing selected
      • ReqIF.ChapterName <- Title
      • ReqIF.ForeignCreatedBy <- Author
      • ReqIF.ForeignCreatedOn <- Created
      • ReqIF.ForeignID <- ID
      • ReqIF.Text <- Description
      • Status <- Status
      • Priority <- Priority
    • System Requirement <- System Requirement
      • Relations <- nothing selected
      • ReqIF.ChapterName <- Title
      • ReqIF.ForeignCreatedBy <- Author
      • ReqIF.ForeignCreatedOn <- Created
      • ReqIF.ForeignID <- ID
      • ReqIF.Text <- Description
      • Status <- Status
      • Priority <- Priority
    
    
    
  • Click the Start Export button.
    
• If it is not the first export of the Document:
  • Select the radio-button Update existing ReqIF specification, and select the ReqIF file previously exported.
