Creating Coverage Links in Rhapsody
This lesson guides you through how to create traceability links between Model Elements and Requirements.
At this stage, the Requirements have been created in Rhapsody.
You can now associate Requirements to Model Elements in Rhapsody.
For example, creating a Dependency link with a <<trace>> Stereotype indicates how Requirements trace to Model Elements.
Traceability between Blocks and Requirements
- Open the "Modeldecomposition" Diagram from the "ArchitecturalDesignModel" Package
- Copy-paste the Requirement called "LLR4" from the "LowLevelRequirements" Package to the "Modeldecomposition" diagram.
- Create a Dependency stereotyped <<trace>> from the "CoffeeBeans" Block to the Requirement "LLR4".
- Create a Dependency stereotyped <<trace>> from the "Control" Block to the Requirement "LLR4".
Satisfaction between a Block Definition Diagram and a Requirement
- In the "Requirements" Package, creates a new Requirements Diagram. Set its name, for example, "Diagram Traceability".
- Copy-paste the diagram called "Modeldecomposition" from the "ArchitecturalDesignModel" Package to the "DiagramTraceability" diagram.
- Copy-paste the Requirement called "QR15" from the "QualityRequirements" Package to the "Diagram Traceability" diagram.
- Create a Satisfaction between the Diagram "Modeldecomposition" and the Requirement "QR15".
