Log files

If you encounter errors or exceptions while you are using OSLC Connect for Windchill, you can refer to the Windchill log files to research these issues. You may eventually report issues with attached log files to the OSLC Connect for Windchill Support, after having reproduced the issues with the OSLC Connect for Windchill debug logs activated.

To activate the debug logs for OSLC Connect for Windchill log4j logger:
  1. From the Windchill Navigator browse to Customization > Tools > Log4j
  2. Enter the com.sodius Logger name or press the browse... button to find it
  3. Note the current log level value
  4. Set the level value to DEBUG if the current value is different
Once the research is done, set the logger level back to its previous value.
