Error when entering credentials at friending

Problem

During the friending (i.e. linking a ELM project area to OSLC Connect for Windchill) phase, you'll get to a point where you'll have to Authorize Provisional Key. At that point, you'll be required to enter the credentials of the OSLC Connect for Windchill administrator, and you may get an error with a red message: An error occurred.

Solution

When this error happens, you've to authorize the new consumer directly on OSLC Connect for Windchill.

1. Open the OSLC Connect for Windchill administration page.
2. Click on the Consumers tab.
3. Locate the list of the Pending consumers.
4. For each Pending consumer, click on the green tick to validate the association.
5. On ELM, you can close the Add friend dialog.

You can then continue the Configuring Friends And Consumers procedure.
