Error when editing the configuration on windchill artifact

Problem

During the configuration dialog (i.e. adding a configuration a ELM to a Windchill artifact) phase, you'll get to a point where you'll have to select the configuration link to the windchill artifact. At that point, you may get an error with a red message: Unable to request the Configuration Dialog.

Solution

When this error happens, you've to remake your friending (i.e. linking a ELM project area to OSLC Connect for Windchill) with the GC application.

1. Open OSLC Connect for Windchill administration page from the Oslc Connect Administration browser.
2. Click on the Friends tab.
3. Remove your GC application friends.
4. Follow the Configuring Friends And Consumers procedure to recreate your GC application friends.
