Windchill Server Requirements

Here are the supported Windchill versions:

• Windchill Server version from 12.0.2.2 to 12.1.0

PLM Cloud is not a supported platform. Please contact us if you need this deployment platform.

Client Requirements

Here are the applications for which compatibility has been verified with OSLC Connect for Windchill:

• IBM Engineering Lifecycle Management (formerly IBM Collaborative Lifecycle Management):
  • IBM Engineering Workflow Management (formerly IBM Rational Team Concert), from version 6.0.6.1 to 7.0.2
  • IBM Engineering Requirements Management DOORS Next (formerly IBM Rational DOORS Next Generation), from version 6.0.6.1 to 7.0.2 ^[1]
  • IBM Engineering Test Management (formerly IBM Rational Quality Management), from version 6.0.6.1 to 7.0.2 ^[1]
  • IBM Engineering Lifecycle Optimization - Engineering Insights (formerly IBM Rational Engineering Lifecycle Manager), from version 6.0.6.1 to 7.0.2
  • IBM Jazz Reporting Service, from version 6.0.6.1 to 7.0.2
  When using Global Configurations, all versions above are compatible except the 6.0.6 version. See the Known Limitations for more details.

There must be an open network connection between the Windchill Server instance and the OSLC Remote Application that allows HTTP or HTTPS client requests from the Windchill Server instance to the OSLC Remote Application, and vice versa.^[2]

If linking will be with IBM Engineering Requirements Management DOORS Next or IBM Engineering Test Management using Global Configurations, server must support the SSL version TLSv1.
