OSLC Resources in Windchill

OSLC Connect for Windchill exposes Windchill Change Requests, Change Notices and Problem Reports as OSLC Change Requests, from OSLC Change Management, and Windchill Parts as OSLC Architecture Resources, from OSLC Architecture Management. Such Change Requests and Architecture Resources can be linked to resources in other applications:

• Change Requests (OSLC CM)
• Test artifacts (OSLC QM)
• Requirements (OSLC RM)

URL of OSLC Windchill Artifacts

There's a unique URL for each Windchill artifact exposed as an OSLC resource.

Windchill Change Requests

The URL of a Windchill Change Request web page in the browser is: https://SERVER:PORT/Windchill/app/#ptc1/tcomp/infoPage?ContainerOid=OR:wt.pdmlink.PDMLinkProduct:PRODUCT_ID&oid=OR:wt.change2.WTChangeRequest2:IDENTIFIER (where the IDENTIFIER variable is the Windchill Change Request unique identifier)

URL of OSLC Remote Application resources

Here is a quick guidance to obtain the OSLC URL of IBM Engineering Lifecycle Management resources from their web page:

• In /ccm:
  1. Navigate to the work item page.
  2. Click the "Copy ID and Summary" button in the tool bar
  3. Copy the URL of the hyperlink displayed in the dialog. This URL looks like:
     https://jazz-server/ccm/resource/itemName/com.ibm.team.workitem.WorkItem/1
• In /rm:
  1. Navigate to the requirement page.
  2. Click the "More actions" button in the tool bar and click "Share Link to Artifact..."
  3. Copy the URL displayed in the dialog. This URL looks like:

• In /qm:
  1. Navigate to the test artifact page.
  2. Click the "Copy link for this page" button in the tool bar
