Configuring Jira Projects

This configuration section is aimed for Jira projects administrators; contains procedures for completing the configuration of OSLC Connect for Jira at project specific level. These configurations cannot be applied while Jira server administrator does not complete the configuration at server level, which by the way, will require you to respond following questions [1]:

  1. Which OSLC Remote Applications do you require connectivity to?
  2. Will you require the use of Global Configurations?
  3. Will you require the use of IBM Jazz Reporting Service and/or IBM Engineering Lifecycle Optimization - Engineering Insights (ENI) services?

After the server configuration is complete, you need to define the remote projects your project will interact to, this by Configuring Project Associations.

In the case you require Global Configurations [2]:

  1. Follow the guide Configuring Global Configurations Compatibility.

No additional steps are required from you in the case IBM Jazz Reporting Service and/or IBM Engineering Lifecycle Optimization - Engineering Insights services are required.

[1] Be sure you have the answers by the moment the Jira server administrator prompts you. [2] This will require your license be granted with the Global Configuration feature, ask the server administrator whether your company owns it.
