Installing Atlassian Apps

OSLC Connect for Jira Cloud requires two Atlassian applications to be configured:

1. Forge App: The main application that integrates with Jira Cloud and provides the OSLC functionality within the Jira interface.
2. OAuth Integration App: Handles user authentication between the Broker and Jira Cloud using OAuth 2.0 (3LO).

Both applications must be properly configured for OSLC Connect to function correctly.

Requirements

1. Atlassian Apps installation has to be done by an Atlassian administrator.
2. The broker's URL (host + port) must be known to create the Atlassian apps.

Installation Order

It is recommended to configure the applications in the following order:

1. First, install the Forge App on your Jira Cloud site.
2. Then, create and configure the OAuth Integration App to obtain the Client ID and Secret.
