Installing Forge App

The Forge App is an Atlassian Forge application that provides the OSLC integration within Jira Cloud. It adds a panel to Jira work items allowing users to view and manage OSLC links to OSLC Remote Applications.

Overview

Forge apps are hosted and run by Atlassian, providing a secure and scalable way to extend Jira Cloud. The OSLC Connect Forge App communicates with your Broker to enable OSLC functionality.

Installation

To install the Forge App on your Jira Cloud site:

1. Ensure you have administrator privileges on the Jira Cloud site.
2. Install the Forge App from the Atlassian Marketplace.
3. Follow the installation prompts to add the app to your Jira Cloud site.
4. Once installed, the Forge App will appear on the left panel, in Apps tab of the Jira Global Page.
