Using the Scripts View

Overview

The Scripts view provides a script-centric navigation in the workspace. It is focused only on available scripts and metamodel features. This is particulary useful to determine the set of properties that can be queried on a particular metatype when developing rulesets and text templates.

The Scripts view focuses on one MDWorkbench project at a time (e.g. com.sodius.mdw.samples.tutorial). You can switch the focused project using the Scripts view toolbar Project drop-down menu.

Filtering elements

You can filter elements using the Scripts view toolbar:

• Hide the types on which no script is defined.
• Hide the metamodel features, to focus only on scripts.
• Hide the non-public scripts.
