BaseConfig Tab
The base configurations sets the defaults for configuring the mappings.
The intention is to populate the value field to create the linkage.
- DOORS Module Type -> This is the DOORS Module Attribute type that is used to select the module type.
- Default Requirements Module Type -> This is the default to use for module if the attribute lookup does not have results. This should be found from a Module Type on the ModuleTypes tab.
- DOORS Requirements Module Type -> This is the DOORS Object Attribute type that is used to select the requirement type.
- Default Requirements Type -> This is the default Requirement Type. This should be found from the ReqmtTypes tab.
- Default OLE Requirements Type -> This is the Type used for Wrapped Resources when bringing over OLE objects. This should be found from the ReqmtTypes tab.
- Default Link Type -> This is the link type used for outbound links that need to be created. This should be found from the ReqmtLinks tab.
A typical configuration would look similar to the following:

In the most basic sense this is the minimum mapping that needs to be done prior to starting a migration.
Once this tab is done you could perform a migration.
You would have only default module types and default requirement types only (most noticeable will be the lack of headings).
Migrations will be prevented until these settings are valid.
