It is good to check your configuration is effective prior to starting a migration of data. There are utilities that provide some basic checks prior to you starting a migration to save time in redoing a migration based on a simple configuration error.
Execute the Basic PreMigration Checks for ELM service.
This utility reads your migration configuration file and validates that all target components and streams are available as defined. It also checks to see if the migration unit has previously been performed as identified by a baseline with the name of the migration unit.
Warnings will identify issues with existence of components/streams or a previous migration of a migration unit of the same name. This assures that components are accurately found and also warn if it appears that the migration might have been previously been done.
Once validated, the scope of your migration has been defined and confirmed.
