Context Pattern Editor – Target Tokens |
The Target field allows capturing of the end of a relation metaclass.
Denoted by a colon symbol in the pattern, it causes the pattern to match against the target of the token element instead of the element itself and should only be used for metaclasses that have a target (for example Dependency, HyperLink, Generalization, Anchor or any new term based on them).
For example, in a table pattern:
{blk}Block,{dep}Dependency
Would capture Blocks and their dependencies – that is the table cell would have the dependency in it.
{blk}Block,{dep}Dependency:
The addition of the target colon symbol would mean that the table cell would instead have the element at the end of the dependency.
