Power Pack Licensing

License Types

The Power Pack works with the following license features:

- RhapsodyPowerPack

- RPUAutosarEXT

- Industry extension licenses:

o RPAutomotive

o RPAerospaceAndDefence

o RPMedical

o RPTransportation

o RPElectronics

This is also the order that the licenses are checked, for example if you have both Rhapsody Power Pack and RPUAutosarExt licenses available, the Rhapsody Power Pack license will be consumed first.

Obtaining a License
To obtain a license file from SodiusWillert, please contact support@sodiuswillert.com. Licenses may also be obtained directly from IBM or any IBM business partner.

Installing the License

To install a SodiusWillert node locked license, please place the license file as *.lic file in the folder C\flexlm. It will be automatically discovered there without the need to modify Environment Variables. If the license file is in a different place, the path needs to be specified in one of the Environment Variables SOWI_LICENSE_FILE or TELELOGIC_LICENSE_FILE.

To install a SodiusWillert floating License, the SoWi License Manager can be used (https://www.sodiuswillert.com/en/support/license-manager). Alternatively, any other flexLM Server can be used. The address of the server needs to be specified in one of the Environment Variables SOWI_LICENSE_FILE or TELELOGIC_LICENSE_FILE.

If an IBM License is used, it will be part of the Rhapsody license file installed with it.
