Populate Diagram |
This helper provides a more powerful way to populate an existing diagram than Rhapsody’s own Populate capability. Unlike Rhapsody’s Populate, the Power Pack populate is model-aware, that is it allows population of the diagram from related elements rather than simply the relation type.
If using Rhapsody version 9 or earlier, then you may launch the helper by right clicking any model element on a diagram:

In addition, if using Rhapsody 10 or later then the helper may be launched from the main toolbar as well as the Layout menu and shortcut key (Ctrl-Alt-P):

The helper should be launched from a graphical element on a diagram. Note that a sample model containing all the supported concepts is available in the profile folder: Rhapsody/Share/Profiles/RhapsodyPowerPack/Samples/PopulateDiagram.
When launched, the helper checks the selected model element for any incoming / outgoing relationships and presents each type as a separate tab in a user interface. It distinguishes between base types (for example dependency) and new terms (for example Satisfaction).

Each tab has its own control button that allows those elements to be added to the diagram:

Each tab has its own Filter field which is a regular expression. If a filter is applied, then the command button options apply only to the filtered elements. To remove the filter, clear the Filter box or select Remove Filter in the command button:

The main panel also has a command button to add elements to the diagram. These commands apply to all tabs:

Right-click any element on any panel to locate the element in the Rhapsody model browser:
