Navigate to Base

Overview

This helper allows navigation from a model element to another that it inherits from.

In addition, if using Rhapsody 10 or later then the helper may be launched from the main toolbar as well as the Tools menu and shortcut key (Shift-Alt-B):

Operation

Rhapsody has no operation to navigate to the other end of a generalization as it does for dependencies.

To navigate to the other end of a generalization, you must open the Features view for the generalization and then click the properties button next to the Base Class field, and then click Locate in the new features window.

Instead, you may invoke this helper to navigate directly to the inherited element without opening any extra Features windows.
