Model Element Inspector

Overview

This helper presents some useful information about a model element.

Operation

Basic properties are presented, many of which are useful when developing helpers, for example:

· Name

· User Defined Metaclass (useful when designing helpers)

· New Term Stereotype

· New Term Name (extracted from the stereotype Name property)

· Interface Name (the base type in the rhapsody API)

· Full Path

· GUID

Some elements have additional fields such as State Type for States and Connector Type for Connectors on Statecharts/Activity Diagrams. The tool also shows the same fields for dependencies / relations of the selected element:

Each field has a Copy button () to place the field text onto the Windows clipboard and (if applicable) a Locate in Rhapsody button ().
