Overview

The Rhapsody Power Pack provides a collection of powerful helpers that automate building and navigating a model. Click any category or helper below to learn more.

Architecture Helpers

Add Dependencies	Allows easy adding of dependencies to/from model elements.
Add Hyperlinks	Allows easy adding of hyperlinks to/from model elements.
Add New Model Element	Provides a simple alternative to the Add New Menu.
Add Ports to Connector	Adds ports to either end of a connector between instances.
Apply Class Tags to Object	Allows easy transfer of tag data from a class to an instance of that class.
Apply Stereotypes	Allows easy application of stereotype(s) to model elements based on eligibility criteria.
Create Change Structural Feature Event	Creates / updates change structural feature events for attributes.
Create Handoff Model	Facilitates handing off part(s) of one model for further development in another.
Create Sub Packages	Creates a decomposed package structure for a block.
Flow Items Editor	Allows easy editing of the flow items on a flow or item flow.
Flow Properties Editor	Allows easy editing of the flow properties on a flow between ports based on the contracts at either end.
Model Element Dashboard	Provides a flexible alternative to the Add New menu.
Model Element Editor	Provides a powerful way to dynamically edit / create a model.
Reverse Direction	Reverses the direction of associations, dependencies and so on.

Diagram Helpers

Add Interfaces to Diagram	Adds interfaces to a structural diagram.
Add Missing Connections	Adds missing connections (links/connectors/flows) to diagrams with ports.
Add Swimlanes to Diagram	Adds swimlanes to an activity diagram based on the parts of the owner.
Diagram Information Box Creator	Adds diagram information boxes to diagrams and keeps them updated.
Element Information Boxes	Allow the tags (and description) of a model element to be displayed on a diagram, even if the diagram itself does not support tags.
Generate Interface Diagrams	Generates interface diagrams from blocks that have proxy ports and interfaces.
Graphical Property Editor	Allows viewing and bulk editing of the graphical properties of elements on a diagram.
Insert State	Adds a new state to a state diagram, in the ‘middle’ of an existing transition.

Compare Models	Compares models and uses Rhapsody decorations to annotate the differences.
Context Pattern Editor	Allows creation and editing of context patterns for table layouts and queries.
Create Custom View	Allows easy creation / editing of Custom Views of specific model elements.
Create Model Elements From Copy Buffer	Automates the process of creating model elements by allowing the user to copy plain text from any application and create new model elements based on that text.
Create Table	The Rhapsody Power Pack provides a collection of useful table layouts. This helper provides an easy way to add a table based upon one of those layouts.
Create Table Layout From Stereotype	Automates the process of creating a new table layout based on a stereotype with tags.
CSV Importer Post Processor	Extends the functionality of the Rhapsody CSV Importer by running post-processors.
Delete Event	Automates the process of deleting an Event including its references.
Delete Stereotype	Automates the process of deleting a Stereotype including its applications to model elements.
Delete Type	Automates the process of deleting a Type including its references.
Drag and Drop	Provides a convenient way to create hyperlinks or remote artifact links through drag and drop.

Property Painter	Allows locally overridden properties to be copied and pasted to other model elements.

Navigation Helpers

Diagram Browser	A browser panel for Diagrams.
Find Layout Usages	Allows navigation between a Table or Matrix Layout and any Table or Matrix Views that use it.
Find Model Element	Finds a model element by its full path or GUID.
Locate Applied Stereotype(s)	Allows easy navigation from a model element to any applied stereotype(s) and/or it’s new term.
Locate Event	Allows easy navigation from an Accept Event Action or Send Action to its Event.
Locate in Component Scope	Navigates from an element to Component(s) that have it in scope.
Locate in Other Rhapsody Instances	Allows navigation from a model element in one instance of Rhapsody to the same element in all other open Rhapsody instances.
Locate Lifeline in Browser	Allows navigation from a realized lifeline on a sequence diagram to the lifeline in the model browser.
Locate Message in Browser	Allows navigation from a realized message on a sequence diagram to the message in the model browser.
Navigate from Message	Allows navigation from a realized message on a sequence diagram to its event receptions and ports / interfaces.
Navigate to Base	Allows navigation to the other end of a generalization relationship.
Navigate to Context	Allows navigation between two different projects loaded into the same Rhapsody workspace.
Navigate to Interface	Allows navigation from a port to its contract / provided / required interface(s).
Navigate to Swimlane Represents	Allows navigation from a swimlane on an activity diagram to the element in its represents field.
References Browser	Allows navigation to referenced model elements.

Reporting Helpers

File Visualizer	Visualizes various types of files by converting them into HTML.
Generate as HTML	Generates a HTML version of the model or any part of it.
Generate Component Scope Report	Generates a matrix of components and their scoped elements
Generate ICD	Generates a digital Interface Control Document (ICD) in the form of a HTML report.
Generate INI File Report	Generates a HTML report of the current Rhapsody INI file.
Generate N2 View	Generates an N2 View for interfaces between blocks or object flows on activity diagrams.
Generate Overridden Properties Report	Generates a HTML report of overridden properties including conditional property evaluation.

Get Full Path	Reports and copies the full path to the selected model element.

Rhapsody Model Manager Helpers

Enable or Disable OSLC Link Load	Allows automatic OSLC link loading to be enabled or disabled.
Replace Remote Artifact Links	Assists in moving a model from one Rhapsody Model Manager server to another.
Show RMM File Version	Annotates the Rhapsody model browser with the version of the unit from RMM.

Trade Study Helpers

Copy MOEs	Copies MOEs from Weighted Objectives to Alternatives.
Generate Weighted Objectives Table	Generates a Weighted Objectives Study Table as a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet.

Unit Helpers

Create Units	Provides an easy way to create units / remove the unit status from multiple elements.
Locate in File System	Locates the selected model element in the file system and opens it in Windows Explorer.
Referenced Unit Loader	Provides an easy way to toggle an editable referenced unit to a non-editable referenced unit or vice versa.
Unit Editor	Provides an easy way to change the language, read write-status and load status of multiple units.
