Generating a Map

Maps are stored either on a profile or on a project level stereotype.

To generate a map, right-click the Editor Configuration Map and select Power Pack  Model Element Editor  Apply Map

The XML is generated to a property (either on the profile or on the stereotype) called [ProfileName].ModelElementEditor.ElementMap

If the profile/stereotype already has a map, then a warning is issued which allows you to back out:

This may be disabled by selecting Don’t Ask Again For This Map, in which case a tag is set on the map:
