Delete Event

Overview

Rhapsody will not allow you to delete an Event from the model if it is used anywhere in the model. That usage might be event receptions, presence in tags and so on. This helper provides the capability to fully delete an Event with one click (by first deleting all its references).

Operation

If the Event has no references, then it is simply deleted. If the Event has references those are listed in a UI. Double clicking a reference will locate it in the model. A context menu is also available:

Locate Owner is useful if the type is used (for example) in a tag on an element on a diagram. Locate in Model will locate that element in the browser, while Locate Owner in Model will highlight the owning element on the diagram.

Deleting the Event

Clicking Delete Event and References will give an option to backout. If confirmed, then all the references are deleted along with the Event. Clicking Undo will restore all the references along with the Event.
