Demonstration |
Invoked from a class/block that has parts, the helper first gets the owning package of the block and adds a new package to it named [blockname]Decomposition. The creation and use of the extra decomposition package may be disabled using the following property (all properties mentioned below may be set at package or project level):
RhapsodyPowerPack.CreateSubPackages.CreateDecompositionPackage
The helper then creates a new sub package for each of the block’s parts. The sub package is given the same name as the child block and an additional suffix may be added by specifying the following property:
RhapsodyPowerPack.CreateSubPackages.SubPackageSuffix
The block/class that types the part is then moved into the sub package.
The above is also true for any blocks that inherit from these child blocks.
As part of the Create Sub Packages operation, child blocks may also have stereotype(s) automatically applied to them. This is controlled by the following property:
RhapsodyPowerPack.CreateSubPackages.StereotypesToApply
The property is a comma-separated list of stereotypes to apply. Each entry may be a named stereotype or a full path to a stereotype. If a named stereotype does not exist, then it is created. If the stereotype is a new term then Change To is used (the stereotype must already exist, new terms will not be created).
