Operation

Rhapsody has a Change To menu that allows you to change one new term element (or base term) into another new term element (or base term). However, that menu:

·       Does not work for multi-selection (at least on diagrams).

·       Has no filter and no structure – so for models with many new terms the flat list is not optimal, for example:

The Power Pack Change To:

·       Works for multiple selected elements – even on diagrams.

·       Presents an organized view of applicable terms.

·       Allows filtering.

When launched, the helper populates itself from:

·       The metaclasses file (see below)

·       The PredefindTypes package

·       All loaded profiles

The look and feel of the Change To dialog may be controlled using Themes.

Selecting an entry on the left shows the applicable elements from that entry. Clicking an element in the list applies it immediately:

The Filter field allows filtering of the list using a regular expression.

Metaclasses

Base terms such as Package are read from a metaclasses file. By default, this is the metaclasses.txt file supplied with Rhapsody but if you find something missing in that file or simply want to use your own then the following property may be set at Project level:

RhapsodyPowerPack.General.MetaclassesFile
