Applying Legends

Overview

This helper allows easy application of a Legend to a diagram, applying filtering or formatting.

Operation

The helper must be launched from a Legend on a diagram.

The views of the Legend are present as a selectable table:

Views may be selected individually using the Select checkbox or in bulk using Select All, Clear All and Invert Selection

These operations only apply to currently visible elements if the table has been filtered.

Any change to the selection will apply the Legend to the diagram (selecting / clearing the Custom Views on that diagram).

Applying any Custom View to a diagram makes that diagram read-only so remember to Clear All before exiting if you want to leave the diagram in a read-write state.

If all the tools in the Diagram Tools palette are greyed out, then the diagram is read only:
