Demonstration |
The helper may be launched from a single or multiple selected elements.
Depending on the menu, the tool launches in one of two modes:
If the selection is a single model element, then that element is presented along with any of its current hyperlinks. These are grouped into model hyperlinks and URLs (those that point at files or web pages)

To add new hyperlinks, select any model element(s) in
Rhapsody and then click Add Hyperlinks to Selected
To add new URL hyperlinks, type or paste the URL into the text box and hit enter.
Double-clicking a model element hyperlink navigates to the target of the hyperlink.
Double-clicking a URL hyperlink open’s it in the system editor for that file / default web browser.
Both sets of hyperlinks also have right-click menus that provide additional navigation options as well as delete (delete support multiple selection in the list).

The displayed name respects the Rhapsody hyperlink setting (Free text or Target name)
If the helper is launched from a multiple-element selection, then each element has its own tab:

Hyperlinks may be added/deleted/navigated on each tab. In addition, a control panel at the top allows hyperlinks to be added to all tabbed elements.
As with From selected a UI is presented highlighting any hyperlinks that point at the selected element:
To add new hyperlinks that point at the selected element,
select any model element(s) in Rhapsody and then click Add Hyperlinks from
Selected
· If the hyperlink is set to display Free Text and the text is the same as the target element (which is the default Rhapsody setting), or the hyperlink is set to display its ‘Target name’ then the displayed name is the hyperlink owner.
· If the hyperlink is set to display Free Text and the text is not the same as the target element, then the displayed name is the free text.
Double-clicking a hyperlink navigates to the hyperlink.
A right-click menu provides additional options:

As with the From option, if the helper is launched from multiple selected elements, then each element has its own tab:
